You are John Strock, chief inspector in the federal police department at Washington, and all four are your problem. A parser interactive-fiction adventure adapted from the public-domain novel by Jules Verne, following its chapters from Morganton and the failed ascent through the three machines, the two letters, the night campaign at Black Rock Creek, the run down the Niagara, the Eagle's Nest and the storm over the Gulf of Mexico. Twenty locations across five regions, 56 objects, eight speaking characters, nine quests, fourteen achievements and 150 points, with eight story verbs, a region chart, a case-file journal, graded hints and six accessibility profiles.
