1. COPYRIGHT OWNER
   The original source code, procedural map data, user interface, artwork,
   and written documentation in this package are the property of Tronsoft
   Games ("the Owner").

2. PERMITTED USE
   This package is provided for play through the Tronsoft Games Portal and for
   personal, non-commercial use. You may play the game and retain a personal
   copy of the package.

3. REDISTRIBUTION
   You may not redistribute, re-host, or republish this package or any part of
   it, in original or modified form, without the prior written permission of
   the Owner, except that portal administrators may archive and roll back
   releases as part of normal portal operation.

4. MODIFICATION
   You may modify a private copy for your own personal use. You may not
   distribute modified versions publicly without written permission. Modified
   copies must retain this LICENSE file and the credits in docs/credits.txt.

5. COMMERCIAL USE
   Commercial use is NOT permitted without a separate written agreement with
   the Owner.

6. SOURCE-CODE REUSE
   The game's source code may not be reused in other projects without written
   permission from the Owner, except for short, non-substantial reference.

   Fonts bundled in the fonts/ folder are licensed separately from this game:

   The SIL Open Font License governs these font files. You may use, study,
   modify, and redistribute the fonts under the terms of the OFL; the full
   license text is available from the SIL OFL project. The Owner claims no
   ownership of these typefaces and redistributes them under the OFL.

8. SOURCE MATERIAL AND TRADEMARKS
   This is an independent, non-commercial recreation inspired by the
   asymmetric "War of the Ring" board-game tradition (2004 design by Roberto
   Di Meglio, Marco Maggi, and Francesco Nepitello) and by the Middle-earth
   setting of J. R. R. Tolkien. It contains NO proprietary artwork, text,
   cards, tiles, or components from any published edition. The Owner makes no
   claim of ownership over the board game, the Middle-earth setting, or any
   public-domain or third-party material, and claims no affiliation with or
   endorsement by their respective rights holders. All such names and marks
   are the property of their respective owners and are used for identification
   and descriptive purposes only.

9. TRADEMARK
   "Tronsoft" and "Tronsoft Games" are trademarks of Tronsoft. This license
   grants no rights to use those marks.

10. NO WARRANTY
   This package is provided "AS IS", without warranty of any kind. The Owner
   is not liable for any claim, damages, or other liability arising from the
   use of this package.
