A 4X of the waste. Two planes, five doctrines, and one bus to rule them by. Found holds, bind the dead reactors, and win by conquest, by the Long Broadcast, or on the ledger when the horizon falls.
Tronsoft Games
Spend exactly 11 picks between codices and traits. Codices open protocol tiers at 1, 3, 5 and 7 per doctrine; the bastion also draws one power per codex. Picks left:
You are a sovereign of the waste, ruling from a bastion on the Surface or in the Undercity. Two planes, joined by shafts. Win by taking every rival bastion, by completing the Long Broadcast (research it once you have bound four reactors of four different doctrines), or by holding the best ledger at season 150.
The Switchboard is the heart of it. Every watt of power on your bus — from the bastion, generators and bound reactors — is split by three breakers: STORE banks charge to cast protocols; STUDY feeds research; SURGE raises the cap on how much charge you may pour in one season, overland or in battle. Drag the breakers; the forecast is printed under each.
Holds grow on food, build on production, pay gold. A hold with nothing queued sells its production. Caravans (from a Depot) found new holds at least four hexes from any other.
Units: click a stack to select it, click an adjacent hex to move, an enemy to attack, a far hex to march. Battles run in rounds; cast battle protocols off your surge, or fall back at the cost of a wound each. Units in a hold heal 2 a season; resting units 1.
Sites: triangles are reactors (colour is the doctrine) — clear the guardians, stand on it and bind it for +4 power. Grey blocks are ruins full of salvage and lost protocols. Rings are shafts between planes. Glass (hatched green) burns anyone not radproof.
