PERMITTED USE

This package is licensed for installation and play through the Tronsoft
Games Portal and for personal offline play by anyone who has lawfully
obtained it. You may extract the archive and open index.html locally for
your own use.


REDISTRIBUTION

You may not redistribute this package, in whole or in part, without
written permission from Tronsoft Games. This includes hosting the
package on another site, bundling it with other software, or offering it
for download.


MODIFICATION

You may modify the package's data files for private use. Modified
copies may not be distributed. The JSON documents under rules/, units/,
maps/, scenarios/, campaigns/, ai/, terrain/ and localization/ are
plain text and are meant to be readable; changing them changes the game
and is expected to.


COMMERCIAL USE

Commercial use, including resale, paid hosting, advertising-supported
hosting, and inclusion in a paid collection, requires a separate
written licence from Tronsoft Games.


SOURCE CODE

The JavaScript in this package is shipped unminified and unobfuscated
so that it can be read, audited and learned from. Reading it is
permitted and encouraged. Copying substantial portions into another
product is not.


THIRD-PARTY CONTENT

There is none. Every file in this package was made for it:

- All code was written for Nightsown.
- All artwork was drawn programmatically from the package's own data by
  the build tools; no photograph, texture, font file, or third-party
  image is included or traced.
- All sound was synthesised from first principles by the build tools;
  no sample, recording, or library is included.
- All names, worlds, charters, hulls and components are invented.
- Typography uses the reader's own system fonts. No font file is
  bundled and no font is downloaded.

Nightsown is an original game. It is not a recreation, clone, port,
adaptation, or authorised or unauthorised version of any published
title. Any resemblance to the general shape of the 4X genre is a
resemblance to a genre, not to a work.


TRADEMARKS

"Nightsown", "Tronsoft Games" and the Tronsoft Wargame Engine are marks
of Tronsoft Games. This licence grants no right to use them, except to
name the game accurately when discussing it.


NO WARRANTY

This package is provided as is, without warranty of any kind, express
or implied. Tronsoft Games is not liable for any claim, damage or other
liability arising from the use of this package.
