How to Play

You wake at the centre of a maze that builds itself into view as you explore. Each room has up to three exits. Somewhere in the outer wall are gates to the open air — reach one, defeat its guardian, and step through to win. Drop to 0 health and the maze keeps you.

Two geometries

Cube — a square lattice. Move North / South / East / West, and Up / Down between levels.
Hex — a hexagonal prism. Move along six sideways directions (E, NE, NW, W, SW, SE), and Up / Down between levels.

Fight

Space attack · X flee to the last room
Creatures have tricks: some poison, drain your life, pierce armor, dodge, or regenerate. Read the tags when a fight starts.

Survive

Your light burns down as you move; in total dark you take damage each step — carry torches.
Poison ticks each step until it fades; a potion cures it. Traps may be hidden. Gear improves the deeper you roam.
Every gate is held by a guardian. Come ready.

Every hexagonal exit door supports three input methods: click with a mouse, tap on a touchscreen, or use the keyboard shortcut. Press New Maze any time to change geometry or size.
