Tronsoft Card Classics — How to Play

This tutorial covers how to start, the shared controls, and the rules for each of the twelve games. Every game also has an in-app Rules button that shows the same rules on demand.

How to begin

Controls

Controls are consistent across every game:

Six table themes are available (Classic Green, Casino Red, Midnight Blue, Royal Purple, Slate Gray, Coffee House). Your choice of felt and card back is remembered between sessions.
On touch screens, tap replaces click and long items scroll normally.

Turn order

Solitaire, Blackjack, War and Memory are played entirely by you at your own pace. In Hearts and Spades play proceeds clockwise: You → West → North → East. In Gin Rummy and Crazy Eights you and the computer alternate turns.

Movement & scoring by game

Klondike Solitaire

Build four foundations up by suit from Ace to King. Tableau columns build down in alternating colours; only a King fills an empty column. Click the stock to draw.

Spider Solitaire (1 / 2 / 4 suit)

Build descending runs; a complete King-to-Ace run in one suit is removed. Any card may sit on a card one rank higher, but only same-suit runs move together. Click the stock to deal a card to every column (no empty columns allowed).

FreeCell

All cards are dealt face-up. Use the four free cells as parking spaces. Columns build down in alternating colours; foundations build up by suit. Larger runs move only when you have enough free cells and empty columns.

Pyramid

Remove pairs of exposed cards that total 13 (Ace = 1, Jack = 11, Queen = 12). Kings (13) are removed alone. Double-click a card to auto-play it — it removes a King or pairs the card with an available partner. Draw from the stock for more options; three passes allowed.

TriPeaks

Remove any uncovered card that is one rank above or below the waste card (Ace wraps to King). Chain cards without drawing to build a scoring streak.

Hearts

Avoid points: each heart = 1, the Queen of Spades = 13. Pass three cards each round, follow suit when you can, and try to finish with the fewest points. Take all 26 points to "shoot the moon" and stick everyone else with 26. Game ends at 100.

Spades

You partner with North against West and East. Bid the tricks you expect to win; make your team's combined bid for 10 points each, +1 per overtrick ("bag"). Miss the bid and lose 10 per bid trick. Ten bags cost 100. Spades are trump. First to 300 wins.

Gin Rummy

Form melds — runs (3+ in suit) or sets (3–4 of a kind). Each turn draw then discard. Knock when deadwood is 10 or fewer; zero deadwood is Gin (+25). First to 100 wins.

Blackjack

Beat the dealer without exceeding 21. Bet, then Hit, Stand or Double. Split a matching pair into two separate hands, each with its own bet (split aces get one card each). Dealer stands on 17. Blackjack pays 3:2.

Crazy Eights

Empty your hand first. Match the top card by suit or rank; any 8 is wild and sets the suit. Draw when you cannot play.

War

Higher card wins each flip. Ties trigger a war. Capture all 52 cards to win. Auto-play runs it hands-free.

Memory Match

Flip two cards at a time to find matching ranks. Clear all eight pairs in as few moves as possible.

Saving and restarting

Each deal is self-contained; there is no mid-game save. The only stored setting is your sound on/off preference, kept in local browser storage. Use New to restart the current game or ☰ Menu to choose another.
