What’s new in Breach 2 v1.4.5

1.4.5 - Suppression & Morale: burst/grenade suppression, four morale states, AP and accuracy effects, Rally action, leader-assisted recovery, and AI morale behavior.
v1.4.1 — Grenade Solutions
- Added live grenade impact and blast-radius preview.
- Shows throw reach, scatter risk, visible hostiles in the blast, and friendly-fire warnings before commitment.
- Fog of war and combat resolution are unchanged.

Version 1.3.5 — 2026-08-19
- Added a fog-safe Sight overlay for the selected trooper's actual field of view.
- Added L shortcut and toolbar state for Sight.
- Sight respects facing, range, blocking terrain, and explored fog.
- Sight combines with Reach, Threats, and Cover overlays.

Version 1.3.4 — 2026-08-19
- Added a fog-safe Cover overlay to the tactical deck plan.
- Green shading marks explored passable terrain that provides intrinsic cover.
- At useful zoom levels, covered cells display their terrain cover percentage.
- Added the C keyboard shortcut and Cover toolbar button.
- Cover can be combined with Reach and Threats for movement-versus-danger planning.
- The overlay explicitly avoids claiming the final shot modifier, which remains directional.

v1.3.3 — 2026-08-19
- Added Reach overlay for current-trooper movement planning.
- Added R keyboard shortcut and Reach toolbar control.
- Reach uses real route/action-point costs and preserves fog of war.

v1.3.2 — 2026-08-19
- Added optional Threats overlay showing the weapon reach of currently visible hostiles on explored terrain.
- Added Threats toolbar control and T keyboard shortcut.
- Threat display preserves fog of war: hidden hostiles and unexplored cells are never shown.

Version 1.3.1 — 2026-08-19
- Added an in-game keyboard command reference available from the new Keys button or ? key.
- Added N to select the next trooper awaiting orders.
- Added D to cycle decks without leaving the tactical plan.
- Documented existing squad-selection, zoom, fit-plan, end-turn, and cancel shortcuts in one place.
- Preserved all mission, combat, campaign, and AI rules from v1.3.0.

Version 1.3.0 — 2026-08-19
- Added next-trooper workflow and automatic advancement when a trooper is effectively finished.
- Added end-turn confirmation when troops still have useful action points.
- Added visible Station Action phase feedback.
- Expanded movement previews with route length, cost, and points remaining.
- Expanded failed-order guidance and selected-trooper status.
- Strengthened active-trooper highlighting.

BREACH 2 — CHANGELOG

VERSION 1.2.1 — August 19, 2026
Added the review pass and its self-test; probed every refusal the rules can
produce; removed two unread state fields and one unread constant; namespaced
the storage keys to the package slug; split the station’s conduct into its
own script; fixed the lift shuttle and duplicate roster first names.
First packaged release, to Package Specification v1.6.2.

VERSION 1.2.0 — August 19, 2026
Added the campaign and the depot: one roster across all five taskings, pay
against the account, arms and armour to buy, replacements who arrive green,
and an infirmary for anyone lifted off. Fixed a double payment, a deadlock
when the squad leader was in the infirmary, and a casualty who did not
travel with the man carrying him.

VERSION 1.1.0 — August 19, 2026
Every attack now files a report: the odds quoted before the shot, the result
round by round afterwards, and a tracer drawn on the plan. Fixed a preview
that quoted a steadiness bonus the act of firing cancels.

VERSION 1.0.0 — August 16, 2026
Initial release. Five taskings across ship interiors and airless surface
sites, the orbit link, air and venting, six advancing skills, and par, pace
and turn limits fitted from measured play.

1.3.6 — 2026-08-19
- Added route-risk preview using only currently visible hostile weapon reach.
- Hovered movement routes now mark exposed cells yellow or red for multiple threats.
- Destination readout reports exposed steps, peak visible threats, and known terrain cover.

1.3.7 — 2026-08-19
- Added an Objectives overlay with direct tactical-plan labels for unresolved tasking sites.
- Same-deck labels quote the selected trooper’s real route AP cost when available.
- Added O as the keyboard shortcut for objective navigation.

Version 1.3.8 — 2026-08-19
- Added Squad Status overlay (button and S key).
- Added readiness rings and compact status/AP labels directly to squad markers.
- Added ready/deployed squad count to the toolbar.
- Synced Objectives and Squad toggle accessibility state in the top bar.

Version 1.3.9 — 2026-08-19
- Added Planning Mode (button and P key) to enable all six tactical overlays together.
- Leaving Planning Mode restores the player's previous individual overlay settings.

Version 1.4.0 — 2026-08-19
- Added contextual Fire Solutions when a fire order is armed.
- Visible hostile targets now show exact current hit odds from the rules engine.
- Legal solutions use a green ring; currently invalid visible targets show X.
- At useful zoom levels solutions also quote target cover.
- Fire Solutions respects visibility/fog and reveals no hidden contacts.
- Restored the Planning toolbar button omitted from the v1.3.9 HTML.

Version 1.4.2 — 2026-08-19
- Added directional Overwatch Preview for Stand watch orders.
- Pointing at a sector previews known cells covered by real cone, LOS, and weapon-range rules.
- Preview quotes turn AP plus watch AP before commitment.
- Clicking commits the facing and watch order atomically; ESC cancels without spending AP.
- Fog of war is preserved: unexplored cells are never painted by the preview.
1.4.4 — 2026-08-19
- Added Intel overlay for stale hostile contact reports.
- Last-seen contacts now show report age and an expanding uncertainty ring when Intel is enabled.
- Added I keyboard shortcut and Intel toolbar control.
- Planning Mode now includes Intel and restores its previous toggle state.
- Contact intel remains fog-safe and uses only previously observed hostile reports.
